It was a decent pick for a quick visit in Nacogdoches at a reasonable price. The refrigerator in the room made loud noises, annoying. If you're sensitive to noise, consider bringing a pair of earplugs.

It was roomy and comfortable
The volume on the tv didn't work, so we couldn't use it. Also, they had given our reservation away just a couple of hours before we arrived.

It had a convenient and prime location short walk to the major eating places, nacogdoches, and loved the personal touch. The overall atmosphere was family, though some staff members were not very friendly.

I greatly enjoyed the hotel, its big room and accommodating staff. The venue was placed in the central location close to everything. Had a really nice time.

A stay marred by smoke
Arriving at check-in felt promising, and despite the chaos, I appreciated the nice staff who greeted me with a smile.

Location was close to university
I checked in, and checked out less than 5 minutes later. We noticed before entering room, that the furniture was peeling and half of the wooden veneer was missing. Once in room, noticed tattered bedspread and several small dead bugs around room. I made the decision to just go elsewhere :(

Only the location to where I needed to be. The bed was comfortable.
The cable and Internet did not work and the staff acted as if they did not care or knew it didn't work and just didn't say anything.

good wifi, good location, ok breakfast selection. Staff were helpful and provided extra towels on request.
On arrival there were 7 flies in the window that I had to catch and eject from the room!! There were strange cricket type insects crawling around the carpet near the door and also the remains of some, I had to remove those too!! The beds were the worst I'd ever slept on, I literally sank into the middle as I sat on it, both mattresses were the same in the room, they clearly needed replacing. The pool was also out of order due to an issue with chemicals and we were told we could use it the next day, which is helpful when your only staying one night. There were other guests complaining that they hadn't been able to use the pool for days due to the 'chemical' problem too.

Clean rooms and great customer service
The breakfast options were basic, but there were tasty bars and coffee to start my day. I found the location to be conveniently close to the university and various dining options. Some areas felt a bit dated and could use modernization.

no wifi , bottles of shampoo/ lotion used, loud people yelling in parking lot midnight and again 6 in morning

This was a convenient location for me on this trip.
The amenities were very poor--only a partial roll of toilet paper, shampoo was previously used, coffee maker and its surroundings were not clean. The AC unit did not function properly. My door keys were disabled before I checked out at 9:30 am. Lots of damage to the room and furnishings.
